Gerald, known to most as Jerry, was born on June 10, 1946 in Garner, Iowa to his parents, Glenn Albert and Lois (Pringnitz) Lange. It was here, his love for gardening, 50's & 60's music, and tinkering began. Jerry married Sandra (Thomson) Lange on June 13, 1970. During their marriage they had a daughter, Jennifer, and a son, Nathan. Jerry worked for the 45 years in the corporate sector of Mercy Hospital in their Clinical Biomedical Department, which later became Trinity Health Services. Jerry earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and a minor in Clinical Engineering from the University of Dubuque. Jerry married Donna (Bradley) Lange on April 18, 1998 at the Wesley United Methodist Church in East Dubuque, IL. Jerry was a member of the IARC, the HS Iowa Antique Radio Club, and the Historical Society. He was an avid gardener, pet lover, a 4-H leader, lover of Buddy Holly and classic rock 'n' roll, record collecting, classic cars, wine making, and was best known for his love of restoring vintage radios. Jerry was also a tissue donor.
Jerry is the beloved husband of Donna L. Lange, of Dubuque, IA; loving father of Jennifer Hackathorn, of Iowa City, IA, and son, Nathaniel Lange, of Dubuque, IA; cherished grandfather of Ella and Lars Hackathorn; brother of David Lange, of Klemme, IA, and Janet (Robert) Abele, of Garner, IA. Gerald is preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Larry Lange.

Marie M. Boldt-Rubbert

Marie M. Boldt-Rubbert, 86, of Platteville, Wisconsin, formerly of Cuba City, Wisconsin, died Monday, February 11, 2019, at Southwest Health in Platteville. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 16, 2019, at Casey Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Cuba City with Pastor Bill Vasey officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Friends may call from 9-10:45 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Marie was born on March 26, 1932, in Cuba City, Wisconsin, the daughter of Charles and Percilla (Reuter) Schollmeyer. On June 4, 1959 she married Delvin C. Boldt who proceeded her in death in 2005. She later married Armin Rubbert on August 2, 2008. Marie graduated from UW-Platteville with a teaching degree and worked with mentally challenged children.
Marie enjoyed volunteering for hospice, parent teacher association "PTA", and as a school volunteer. She started Friends of Hospice in Sawyer County. She served many terms as the treasurer for the PTA, her snowmobile club, and other not for profits. Marie loved playing cards, spending time at the senior center and traveling. Trips with her family always held a special place in her heart. Marie cherished times spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her second husband, Armin Rubbert; a daughter, Janice Szula, Chicago, IL; a son, Allen (Kathleen) Boldt, Beecher, IL; six grandchildren, Samantha (Jonnie) Lussier, Mathew (Nichole) Szula, Devin (Miriam) Boldt, Amanda (Aaron) Corns, Danielle Boldt, and Nicole (Steve) Debis; and four great-grandchildren, Lillian Corns, Zoe Szula, Ari Boldt, and Ezra Lussier.
She was proceeded in death by her first husband, Delvin Boldt; her parents, Charles and Percilla Schollmeyer; a daughter, Katherine Cady; two sisters, Dolores and Marie Elizabeth Schollmeyer; and four brothers, Aelred, Merlin, Lyle, and Joseph Schollmeyer,

Sister Patricia O'Rourke, BVM, 90, of 1130 Carmel Drive, Dubuque, Iowa, died Monday, Feb. 11, 2019, at Caritas Center.
Visitation will be from 9-10:15 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 14, 2019, in the Marian Hall Chapel. Sharing of Memories will be at 10:15 a.m., followed immediately by the Mass of Christian Burial. Burial is in the Mount Carmel Cemetery.
Sister Patricia was an elementary principal and teacher at St. Patrick in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and St. Irenaeus in Clinton, Iowa. She also ministered as an elementary and adult education teacher in Chicago.
She was born on Dec. 25, 1928, in Chicago to William James and Agnes Bradley O'Rourke. She entered the BVM congregation Feb. 2, 1950, from St. Eulalia Parish, Maywood, Ill. She professed first vows on Aug. 15, 1952, and final vows on Aug. 15, 1957.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers William, James, and Charles; and sisters Agnes Atherton and Margaret Rose O'Rourke.
She is survived by nieces and nephews; and the Sisters of Charity, BVM, with whom she shared life for 69 years.
